Joy Bells

JoyBell is a ministry for all women:  Sinners, Confused, Weak, Distraught, Hopeless, Sick, Deceived, Saved, Strong-in-Christ, Five Fold Ministry, First Ladies, Ministers, and Lovers of God.  First it is geared to support and build up the JoyBell Council along with other women that serve with us.  Together, we take God’s word to women in various settings: services, conferences, shelters/women’s shelters, schools, nursing homes, and other avenues as the Lord directs.  The God-given format is to ensure that He is first and foremost (Praise, Worship, The Word) and all else secondary.  When the Holy Spirit leads, individual ministry to those in need goes forth.  Fellowship amongst all ladies is a must. No one is to feel alone or left out at any JoyBell function.  Sometimes, in a Conference setting, God allows Christian Networking.  This is where ladies are able to communicate or display what God has led them to do (entrepreneurs) and we support one another.  It is my desire for women and anyone attending, to leave built up knowing that life has meaning and they are worthy because of Jesus Christ.  The Sinners leave converted unto the Lord and they too are somebody in Christ Jesus or they leave with great seed planted.  We often serve refreshments or a meal at the conclusion.

Unity Sistas

Unity Sistas is a ministry for all women, and teens when appropriate, at Jesus Is Lord ~ Assembly of Love Church.  It is the enemy’s desire that we are divided and separated by ignorance, pettiness and all wicked schemes.  As servant leaders in this ministry, we mustn’t succumb to the enemy’s devices.  Nothing is too hard for God which in turn means that all things are possible with God, as stated in Mark 19:26.  First this fellowship must bring God glory by lining up with God’s word and commands.  Everything that we do must be saturated in love as charity never fails according to 1 Cor. 13:8.  The spirit of unity is one of the best ways that the sisters in this assembly will be able to come together as one in service unto the Lord, serve each other and serve others.  With us being like minded and on one accord we’ll be able to effectively carry out God’s vision.

Media ministry

At JLAL we are blessed to have a strong Media ministry which allows us to minister outside of the church walls in various ways. Through CDs’ and DVDs’ which are made available weekly, we are able to reach those who are unable to attend church services.  This also applies to those who do attend and wish to have that message for study and review. We are also blessed to have a television broadcast called “Imparting Gods Love” which airs twice a week on Cox channel 78 as well as WDRL Channel 22. Through the vehicle of television we have been able to reach many with the saving and empowering word of God.

Men of Integrity and Triumph

The purpose of the Men of Integrity and Triumph is to help disciple and equip men for Biblical leadership in their homes, church and daily lives following Christ’s example. Men of Integrity and Triumph is founded upon these principles: men need God and men need each other. Thus, it is the focus of our men’s ministry to help men strengthen their relationships with God and to build meaningful relationships with each other along the way. In so doing, it is our desire that men become more Christ-like in all areas of life.

Children’s Church

Our children’s church ministry has a dual purpose in that it allows children the opportunity to learn the things of God in a fun environment, and allows their parents to sit undisturbed while receiving the Word of God. Children’s church provides a mini-bible lesson as well as hands on activities which compliment what the students have learned.  This ministry is available to parents with children ages 2-12.
